So Martin Parr shot Urban Outfitter’s most recent catalogue photos. I guess you have to join Magnum to get that gig now…

Museum Design
I’ve mentioned before that my wife works in museum design. She’s an interpretive planner and basically works with clients to come up with the initial concept and then writes all of the copy for use within the exhibits after researching the project. This past week I took Sam to visit her at work and we went to the fabrication building to look around and see some of her work printed.  ...

mattcdavis replied to your post: I was up really late last night and I had this… Like the idea, your so right about trying to stay motivated. Just how do you define young? I didn’t expect to get so much positive feedback, so I probably didn’t think it through enough. Young is a state of mind, surely. I feel akin to the 18 year olds on here, yet I find myself to be 24 quite...

I was up really late last night and I had this thought of how it would be cool to create some sort of mini photo agency/collective sort of thing with some of the other young photographers I’ve come across here and there over the internet. It seems like a lot of us are just spewing out a bunch of photographs, and they get a few likes here and there, occasionally someone comments, but even as...

I’ve been lurking on there just recently and ran across some of his posts. I just love his stuff. I’d love to find some clients that appreciate that kind of artistry. Not everyone gets it, and it isn’t for everyone, but I think it’s just beautiful.  filmus-monochromus replied to your photo: While I’m posting my black and white wedding… Riccis also uses a film M (MP)...

Goodness. Thanks so much. That’s definitely what I’m striving for. I think I’m getting better. My goal is to get a rapport with the Bride and Groom as quickly as possible and from that point on, just be a guest, with complete access and a decent camera. It doesn’t always work out that way, but that’s the plan anyhow. I do think it shows through, at least when...
